Color mixing sensory bags! Fun & MESS FREE activity great for preschoolers and toddlers

Open one of the resealable bags, and put in clear gel. I added about 5 ounces of gel to each bag. You want to have enough that you’ll be able to play with the color and spread it around in the bag, but not so much that it spills out! Then I squirted two different color of paint into each bag, one on each side.

Press the air out of the bag, and seal it. We actually usually double-bag these, just to be safe. Then, to make it sturdier, I put the tape over the opening. You’ll still want to watch little ones playing with this, but with the double bag and the tape, I find that my bags don’t rip as easily.

MESS FREE color mixing - this is so great for preschoolers!

These color mixing bags pretty much beg to be touched. As I set up them up, my kids immediately came over and wanted to play! I handed them the bags, and they got to work, mixing them!
