How many hundreds of times have you read Good Night Moon by Margaret Wise Brown? Next time try it with a sensory bottle!
Make The Sensory Bottle:
(Affiliate links used below)
- Honey Bear bottle (“good night, bears”)
- yellow craft foam(cut moon shapes – “good night, moon”)
- hot glue gun
Cut several moon shapes from yellow craft foam. Put them in an empty honey bear jar (or just a regular jar if you don’t have a bear shaped one). If there’s a label on your bottle, take it off. We soak ours in water and then peel it off, and remove traces of glue with a drop of lemon essential oil. Add a lot of glitter. Then fill almost to the top with water. Hot glue the lid on (optional step that makes spilling less likely!).
